This place is quite amazing. The atmosphere is amazing and the owner is very knowledgable about all the teas. The little treats and foods they have are all absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this place it anyone who likes tea in any way at all. All the tea products are nice also and you can tell she really cares about tea and is very personable.
Took high tea with my best friend and her daughter Saturday… What a wonderful experience. We have been buying tea from Donna for 2+ years, and have stopped for scones and tea regularly. This, however, was the first time we made reservations for either afternoon or high tea.
The food was both plentiful and of excellent quality (better than the Four Seasons Westlake or Biltmore Santa Barbara) and we never felt rushed. We loved the warm scones. My favorite tea sandwich was the salmon and cream cheese, but my friend loved the tuna and the cucumber sandwiches just as much. We were also impressed with the pumpkin cheesecake and flourless chocolate cake.
It goes without saying that the tea was wonderful. We had three pots of Earl Grey while sitting there. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing, but don’t expect “Victorian” fru-fru since that is not the type of environment Donna is trying to create.
Professionals seeking a haven from the hustle of the office should seek out this small tea room for lunch (try her quiche). Going again next weekend to meet friends for another high tea!
All Things Tea has a wonderful selection of teas, over 50! Donna, the owner, is very knowledgable about her tea. I have learned so much about tea. In fact my health has improved as a result of the tea and Donna’s knowledge of the benefits of tea. I have even given up coffee! The chef is very talented preparing uniquely simple and pure delights! One of my favorite meals to go with my tea, is the chicken wrap and a cup of soup. The wrap is of rice paper, and the chicken is not canned, mixed with olive oil and lemon – no mayo. Add a layer of thin veggie slices and it is pure perfection to the health conscious. It is served with a herbed yogurt. The delicious soups are simple and pure also. Two traits with describe this shop very well!
I went by there on Wednesday last week because we saw their sign from the freeway. My hubby got a little mini cheesecake and I got the Morocan Mint tea and the Pomegranate Green Tea to take home. I followed the directions and absolutely LOVED them!!! They had sooo many different teas to choose from and I loved hearing about the ones I asked about. I will definately come back for lots more different ones (and these ones too). Ohh and the pastries looked sooo yummy! Thanks Soooo Much!!
All Things Tea was fantastic – owner is very well versed in teas and the afternoon tea my group enjoyed was healthy and delicious. The food is excellent and homemade – everything was first class. This is an adorable place and definitely worth the drive. All people that went with me enjoyed the experience and we will definitely be back again! Great find!
