To produce Black tea, tea leaves go through a process of withering, rolling, oxidation, drying and sorting. This process produces hearty, distinctive flavor that can be blended, scented and flavored. Black teas are full bodied and robust, malty, earthy, smoky, astringent, nutty, aromatic and the liquor is usually dark amber or golden in color. Black tea is full of antioxidants catechin and L-theanine which is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Brewing Instructions Heat filtered water Add 1 tsp. per 6-8 oz. White/Green-175F Brew 1-3 mins. Oolong/Black-195F Brew 3-5 mins. Tisane/Botanical full boil-208F Brew to taste Prices are per 4 oz.
